Policy Regarding Footwear and Disabled Devotees In keeping with agamas and shastras, the following is the policy regarding footwear at the Sri Venkateswara Temple. 1. No footwear of any kind is permitted inside the Mukha mandapam. 2. No footwear is permitted inside the Mahamandapam and Prakaram. The following exception may be done for devotees with prosthesis only: The prosthesis may be covered with booties for devotees who are able to ambulate or who use wheelchair/scooter. Booties will be supplied free of cost by the temple on request.
